Hello Beautiful Humans
I fell face first into a firepit when I was 3, started my period when I was 9, jumped out of a moving vehicle at 10, by 18 I had lost a family member and a friend to suicide. In my 20's I met, married and divorced someone in under 2 years. I've lived in three countries and travelled to 30. I'm lactose intolerant and a capital "T" Trauma-Survivor. Some nights I stare at my ceiling unable to sleep plagued with existential dread.
So, you might be wondering, "Who is this person to dole out advice?" Well, fair question. Maybe I should rethink this whole gig?! Or maybe, just maybe, my epic fails, wild escapades, and peculiar life experiences make me just qualified enough <3 Reminder: we are ALL enough.
Let's laugh at the chaos, find wisdom in the wreckage, and embrace the beautiful mess that is life.
Why a Q and A Page?
Yes. I am a therapist. But NO this isn't therapeutic advice.
This is.. friendly guidance. Because if there's one thing I've noticed throughout my existence—both in the tangible world and online—
it's that we're all craving more connection.
Many of us find ourselves in situations where we feel trapped, our voices unheard
and our true selves unseen. We don't know what to do, or who to ask?
So, here's my mission: to support, love, advise, listen to, and truly see as many human beings as possible.
The most crucial aspect of offering advice, you ask? It's the ability to recognize the human being behind each question. My life has been dedicated to studying human behavior, I have a Masters Degree in Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Counseling and I've always found myself drawn back to a profound Buddhist philosophy—the notion that within each of us resides a pure essence, our Buddha nature. It's love and support that nurtures this within each of us.
